I wonder how long US consumers will pay $40k + for EVs when chinese EVs without tarifs might be $15k. I shudder when I think what the used car prices for US EVs will be in 3 years. That is one of fhe reasons I am staying out of Ally.

I think the US govt will be hard pressed to defend tariffs on EVs while putting themselves forward as doing every they can to combat the climate change.
