Hello Eddie, in my opinion, Groupwise provides a steady stream of cash flow for NOVL from its 6 - 7 million installed base. Its growth is pretty well limited in my opinion since Exchange and NOTES besides some other e-mail /groupware packages are a real pain in the b--- and hard to overcome. Future sales of Groupware are limited unless users migrate to NW 4.1 big time.

Managewise: Sales also limited and revenue from this division are probably stagnant to down. HP Openview is the network monitoring software of choice and Managewise is limited to the Netware world. Future sales of Managewise are limited unless users migrate to NW 4.1 big time. Managewise in my opinion should be sold to a third party willing to pay royalties to NOVL.

Intranetware: Sales not exactly clear but if what the magazines are saying is true...that NOVL has been slow in the internet/intranet offering, then expect this software to do poorly in this quarter as compared to sales from MSFT and NSCP. Intranet besides NW 4.x is NOVL's only product that can pull it out of the dolldrums. Failure in these two products will surly mean the loss of independence of this once fine company and a big loss for shareholders (i.e those who bought above $15).

Resellers would be a help in clarifying my belief and the above is based on my independent poll and some gut instinct based on market reactions in the last three months.
