Inode, I'm going to just answer this one part of your post: We do know this with certainty [that no one at Twitter pre-Musk needed his or her arm twisted]. You probably meant "we DON'T know this with certainty," which would be more consistent with your "up is down" view of the world. You constantly accuse me of becoming liberal as a result of being here in California, but I can assure you that no one is forcing me one way or the other. I know how to hold conservative viewpoints in blue states, and I know how to defend myself even when I'm in the minority. So don't give me this bullshit over the government forcing Twitter employees to censor content. If anything, social media execs like Zuckerberg and Dorsey were trying to RESTRAIN their employees from going full-tilt left.
