China can wait until its time is right. It is repeating the same playbook it used with Hong Kong, but who ended up owning it? How long it takes probably isn't a big issue with China.

China is not generally acquisitive.

But they move like a lion setting up to attack its prey. China attacks is a much more measured sense than we do.

Having watched China's rise from a cripple to a superpower over the last 50 years, it has been arguably the most impressive campaign of any nation I know of. China's leadership is astute and moves so slowly we can't really know the intention. We would be better off with China as a friend than as an enemy, but sure as we do some fool Democrat will come along and misjudge the situation, and we'll become prey.

The main thing is we cannot be electing stupid people. And if you can't see that Kam is as stupid as people come, then I don't know what to make of it.
