That is very misleading.

Your statement "almost all red States that depend on money from the blue States to survive" Show me your proof.

Take Mississippi for instance. The poverty is mostly in the democrat counties which is all along the western part of the state. They are 30 to 40% poverty. The Red counties are 9 to 20%.

Your also looking at this in percentage.

Mississippi has 19.2% poverty rate out of a population of 2,958,846 = 568,098.43 in poverty

California has a 12.1% poverty rate out of a population of 39,356,104 = 4,762,088.58 in poverty

California received 5.3 million in welfare an 11.1% increase from the previous year

Mississippi received 397.8 thousand a decline of 2.8% from the previous year
