I went to a breakfast this morning where Rod Bryden was the guest speaker. (I even had a chance to meet him before the breakfast!) Tofy Mussivand was also present. What a good speaker Rod is - genuine, insightful and provactive. He stated that the HeartSaver VAD was "a generation" ahead of the competition, which he qualified as being 5 - 8 years. He characterized the opportunity as being "a Nortel for the medical devices industry". He reiterated that they will be in clinical trials within two years and full commercialization in three. I was told by a former colleague of mine that the magazine Saturday Night published an article on World Heart a couple of months ago? Did anyone out there see it? Dan
