Trump's God Bless the USA Bibles Reportedly Made in China (mediaite.com)
The Associated Press reported on Wednesday after reviewing global trade records that 120,000 copies of Trump’s Bible, which he promoted with God Bless the USA singer Lee Greenwood, were made by a printing company in Hangzhou and shipped to the United States between February and March. The printing company, which specializes in Bibles, shipped the Bibles to a company in Alabama called Freedom Park Design, which confirmed the shipments were all for Trump’s Bible.
The cost for a total of three shipments was reportedly $342,000 at $3 a pop for each book. The Bibles sell for approximately $60 apiece. A copy with Trump’s signature costs $1,000. It’s not clear how much Trump made through his deal, but his image and name are used through a licensing deal, similar to past deals he’s made to push other products.
The website promoting Trump’s Bible noted it was the “only Bible endorsed by President Trump!” Trump has similarly sold sneakers, cards, and more.
