But CIEN's multiple isn't any larger than Lucent's! It may have been at 58, but it isn't anymore.

It was a nice trick for LU to cut costs and realize some benefits after being cut loose from T. These impressive earnings gains you have seen from LU can't continue at the same rate for very long.

CIEN can easily grow their earnings at a faster rate than LU for a longer period of time.

P.S. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a LU bear.
