Bihar is the place the rickshaw wallahs of Calcutta come from in search of a better life. I think they find it, too.

No offense, but it has been a very difficult situation for many years.

But let us not one of us believe that this could not also be ourselves, given a little time and bad luck.

One of my fascinations with northern India is the greatness, superiority that was in ages past - and the degradation now in places, populated by identical DNA.

I can see the vast U.S. interstate highway system as a future tourist relic.
