Dear Mike,

The company would normally pre announce during the last week of
January. This year there will be no pre announcement. Earnings
for the year ending 12/31/97 will be announced on Feb. 17, 1998.
At this time the company will make all announcemences about the
new internet access switch. This switch can differentiate between
data and voice. The magic is that it connects and is compatable
with all the telephone company switches. There are about 500,000
stations in the U. S. where this switch can be installed. The
switch will sell for around $50,000 a copy. If you do the math
you find several billions of dollars in this market. This switch
will solve most of the traffic problems on the web. There is
another telephone company besides U. S. West who will be testing
the product soon. The new switch is termed the 4800, the next
generation switch is the 5800, and is do for release in the third
quarter. The question with U. S. West, is whether or not they
will buy the 4800 or wait for the 5800. The market for this
product is huge and AINN stands to make a great deal of money
before the competition catches up with them. We will know all of
the answers on Feb. 17.
