I would suggest to reporters that they focus more on interviewing the listeners to see what THEY think about the comments, rather than giving THEIR OWN interpretations of Trump's comments. And the crowd with which they hang has a lot to do with it, too (ask your favorite AI program how many r's there are in strawberry).

I think it is important what the president says, don't get me wrong. But it is different from the Oval Office versus a stadium in Michigan.
