Chinese auto makers use EC tech more than pdlc by a good number of models in a count of Chinese cars with smartglass and what they use. Not sure why post on gauzy board would say pdlc over ec, maybe unaware of this fact.... Ec much closer to spd, just a way worse version of SPD in slow changing and changing uneven..Zeeker uses SPD as I have posted about.

I do think China makes most of the pdlc used in western cars, pretty confident on this thought. Chinese automakers use EC that is made in china mostly for their cars though.

Morris Minor is now part of China's SAIC, so I'm leaning toward PDLC for the roof.
