You should understand that slightly more than half the country do not see Trump as a scofflaw.

That I understand that should be clear from my point, which is based on said understanding. And which suggests that you fail to understand the converse in the mainstream half. I'll refer back to a previous point of yours.

I understand that, too. I know that you can more accurately interpret Trump just as I can more accurately interpret mainstream statements. We better put them in context and pick up on the language and nuances of our fellows. You can see that going on right here on this board. So, if you want to understand the reaction of my side to a Trump statement, you need to acknowledge where they are coming from. You don't have to buy where they are coming from but you have to recognize it to understand what's going on.

Your reaction to the reaction to trump's statement about Fifth Avenue comes from your own framework, not ours, so it is inevitably invalid. You totally missed that the corollary caused the reaction because you are tunnel visioned about it.

I post this recognizing that you probably don't want to actually understand rather than just howl at the wind.
