Kamala proudly takes full credit for all of the lousy policies of the Biden administration.
Biden says she was there for every decision and agreed with everything he did.

Why would both people do everything they can to cause her to lose the election?

Kamala's reason is she is stupid. Rather than distance herself from Biden she takes credit for his blunders.
When asked if she would change anything she and Joe did she said nothing came to mind. The reason is she has no mind. She wasn't prepped for the question, so she had no answer. She is stupid and repulsive.

Biden's reason for giving Kamala credit for everything is he hates the snake and wants her to lose.
He was dumped in a coup and is very mad about it. If she loses he will swear till he dies that he would have beaten Trump.
