OK here are my notes which I deemed important. First of all I missed
the first 30 minutes of the call but in the last 30 minutes here we have
the following.
1. The company will show profits in all quarters, provided the
company can execute the business plan. I believe they will.
2. After the first half look for a road show to try and attract analysts
for coverage in the 2'nd half.
3. The company has a retained customer rate of about 98%
4. The company has a win rate of about 93%, they state 28 out of 30.
5. The company's best sales efforts are Rational users. I like that !
6. No new products this year, but look for major updated releases of
existing product, to increase funtionality. This means no large
development costs.
7. Y2K is not seen as a problem for sales, it will detract some due to
budget allocation, but it will help in sales of Y2K certified product, so
all in all, a wash.
8. The preferred holder has converted about half of his position. IMO
this is good as it affords a little more time to purchase shares at a
discount.
9. The only negative that I heard is that they do not have a good
understanding of exactly how their customers are using their tool sets.
This needs to be addressed.
So overall I am very pleased, Frank will you post your notes as I
missed the first half, if anyone can add to this please do.
