Why doesn't California just cut to the chase instead of beating around the bush: Outlaw pollution, poverty, cancer, old age, and death; and mandate that everyone be youthful, ageless, healthy, rich, and happy? It's working in China, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela. Why can't California be like them? Oh, wait... it's working on it. Just in a roundabout way.
