It is a very competitive market. But I think from a new purchase point of view, all things being equal (comparable functionality, price, future product direction, support etc.), installed base and strategic alliance with other software cos. do count when making a product selection (I used to be responsible for that kind of activity. Evaluating and recommending software products). Cognos is leading the pack and Business Object have recovered somewhat from it's stumble. Andyne is the smallest in terms of revenue and installed base. What does all of it mean to HUMCF's share price, I don't know. My position on HUMCF was for trading purposes but am still here.
