Today I did a comparison between AMAT and KLIC The undesputed leaders in front end & back end eqpt. The result makes me even more bullish on KLIC These are the comparisons as of today. AMAT KLIC P/E 22.6 14 5 year growth 37% 35% Price to sales 3.0 1.2 Price to cash flow 16.6 11.2 Price to book 4.4 2.2 I believe both companies dominate their market. I think the difference in pricing is because of size and wall street following. I see KLIC as the AMAT of the back end and feel it should command similar ratios. I understand the big boys will always stick with the big liquid stocks, but I think we deserve a better comparison. Comments will be deeply appreciated.
