Dick, now that I think about it more I can see you are most likely right about that. It would indeed be bad if the ISP's didn't have enough memory for both in the head-end units. Hopefully, last year's cocky rhetoric was ignored by the ASND, BAY, et al's engineering departments, and they didn't cheap out in their designs.

The V.90 will in fact be an opportunity for K56Flex ISPs to actually get x2 customers. It broadens my choices for one, though I won't feel comfortable until fall as far as actual trouble free connection, so I am likely to go with a current x2 ISP. Besides, as a COMS stockholder, I will be happy to throw the business to a "farsighted" ISP.
