Don't you think losing the Teamsters will hurt the Dem ground game?
Of course, which is why Trump even has a shadow of a chance to win. He's winning over blue collar workers, who will be going against the grain of their union leadership.

On a side note, you could argue that Trump's base of support are lower income Americans who can hardly afford to donate. Democrats are becoming the party of the rich and privileged, while Republicans are becoming the party of the poor and disenfranchised.

With or without Trump, this trend will continue even after this year.
