I think we are in a nice recovery phase. The new management seems to be doing much better at soothing existing customers. I expect them to at least break even next quarter if not turn a profit.

The problems with this stock (IMHO) will be as follows:

Too much overhead resistence. I know so many people that have been stuck with this stock for so long that they would jump on the opportunity to get out at their buy price.

The biggest question is of growth - Can Object Share attract new customers or not. From whatever I read in the Smalltalk magazines such as The Smalltalk Report, all authors are now using examples from VisualAge rather than Visualworks. That indicates to me the growing popularity of VisualAge over Visualworks.

At this point, I don't think ObjectShare will find it easy to attract new customers in the Smalltalk market. I guess, only time would tell. Also, from personal experience, it is much harder to learn to work with VisualWorks than it is with VisualAge. (The gui is much better for visualage).

I am not sure when I should get out of this stock. It is now above my buy price but I think I am going to hang in there for at least another quarter and see what is going on. I wish I had bought my shares at the 50 cent mark, then I could be out with a nice 200% gain now :-)

What do you think ? I am interested in your opinion of the situation. And you are right, this board is too quite.
