Dear Cheryl: How much better than "Take the money and run!"

That reminds me of "The Gift of the Magi": -where for Christmas;
he sells his watch to give her a fine hair brush,
and she sells her hair to give him a vest for the watch,
and for what matters most they both come out ahead.
They were both far happier for "the example" they had gone through.

You and Dexx appear to be kindred spirits.
In my book you have both "said it all".
And that is OK with me!

(And I think Kenneth will like your story even more!)

We as people are valuable and can experience much goodness buy
building on "what really matters". Any price can simply be that.
When put in its proper place, it is small and will simply follow. <G>
