He has a record in office. The Hitler, fascist thing doesn't fly.
He had people actively limiting his extremist tendencies during his first term.

They won't be there during his second term.

For example, Trump has a new running mate because his previous VP didn't want to support his violent insurrection.

Again, everything about Trump changed when he lost in November of 2020. If he wasn't a fascist before then, he certainly became one afterwards.
