The February issue of "Casino Executive" magazine rated 7 new, hot casino
games -- "Wild Cherry Pie" (IGT), "Cash Ball" (Anchor), "Reel 'Em In"
(Williams), "Top Dog" (CDS), "Polly & Roger" (VLC), "Loony Darts" (Bally) and
"Buccaneer Gold" (new Silicon Gaming game).

The overall Ratings were:

Game Graphics Ease of Use Interactivity Fun Overall

Wild Cherry Pie B- A B- B B
Cash Ball B B- B B B
Reel 'Em In A- C+ B+ B+ B+
Top Dog B C B+ B+ B
Polly & Roger B- C A- A- B+
Loony Darts B- B A A- B+
Buccaneer Gold A+ A B+ A- A

The article on Buc Gold reads:

"One of the four new games in Silicon Gaming's Odyssey machines, Buccaneer
Gold, looks like a hit that could be even bigger than last year's Fort Knox.
It's a pirate-themed game that takes full advantage of the Odyssey's
elongated video screen, Pentium processor, special effects, and sound
capabilities.

There's an amazing attention to detail. Hit any three any-bars, and one
cannon shoots gold coins from the pirate ship. Hit three bars, and two
cannons fire, and four cannons fire for three double bars. On bigger
jackpots, an octopus raises a treasure chest or a pirate swings down from the
rigging with his treasure.

A bonus feature allows the player to collect pirate daggers. On each dagger,
the player gets a free spin, and with five daggers gets the treasure. All
good fun, and as easy to use as spinning the reels."
