The January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol left many police officers with PTSD and other mental health issues:
  • Four officers who responded to the attack died by suicide within seven months. The deaths of these officers, along with the death of Howard C. “Howie” Liebengood, led to the creation of the Public Safety Officer Support Act. This act provides death benefits to the families of officers who die by suicide after a traumatic event, and makes it easier for officers with work-related PTSD to access disability benefits.

He covered it in detail in his book. Basically, because Pelosi didn't do her job.

So in your words, Sen Cruz was hiding in a supply closet during the J6 pleasant walk in the park, because Pelosi didn;t do her job? What didn;'t she do? It was just guys who were nonviolent who were walking around the Capitol at the behest of the Capitol Police? What was he afraid of? Little ole Pelosi? All 125lbs of an old lady? He was cowering in a closet because of that?

C'mon Node, you can do better than that.
