I am just learning about some of the companies involved like amati. I have several questions about ASDL. I just recently called the second largest internet provider in the country and they said they are testing ASDL right now. They plan to market the service in six months. They said U.S. Robotics has several patents on it and is letting others make some of the ASDL modems. Does anyone know about patents concerning ASDL and which company stands to gain the most?
