<<And when we get a revenue crossover with Intel.>>

Might not be quite so easy when Intel starts getting more enterprise
business that not many are talking about. And this doesn't include
the potential $15 billion in outside foundry in five years or so:

<<October 2, 2024

Intel’s upcoming Falcon Shores GPU will survive the brutal cost-cutting measures as part of its
“next phase of transformation.” An Intel spokeswoman confirmed that the company will release
Falcon Shores as a GPU. The company also plans to integrate Gaudi processors into the GPU.

“Our AI investments will complement and leverage our x86 franchise – with a focus on enterprise,
cost-efficient inferencing. Our roadmap for Falcon Shores remains,” the spokeswoman said.

Intel is laying a “strong foundation” for its AI roadmap with Gaudi and sees significant AI
opportunities across the client, edge, and data center business, the spokeswoman said.

“Falcon Shores is indeed a GPU that integrates Intel Gaudi IP,” the spokeswoman said.

Intel has doubled down on x86 and is rebuilding its products around the architecture. All
the products, in some way, will reconnect to the CPU.

“Coupled with Xeon, our accelerator portfolio and investment in optimizations at a systems
level are critical to our path forward and growth in Enterprise AI,” the spokeswoman said.

In a blog post last week, Intel’s Adam Wolf reiterated Falcon Shores was due for release
next year, so there are no delays.

The GPU, combined with Gaudi technology, will give it a big advantage over rival GPU-
only products, Wolf said.

“This hybrid architecture is set to offer an even more powerful platform for deep learning, continuing
Intel’s push to provide an alternative to traditional GPU-heavy environments,” Wolf wrote.>>
