Tenchu's Thoughts - It's the Same Thing as Having an Affair!

Conservatives in furor over Julia Roberts ad (The Hill)

Democrat women are reminding each other that their ballots are secret, and that no one will know whom they voted for. They're trying to reach out to women who fear backlash from their Trump-supporting husbands or family members.

So how are so-called "conservatives" reacting?

With a simple "So what? It goes both ways"?

No, of course not.

Instead, they think such an act is a "betrayal" that is no different than "having an affair" ...

FOXNews' Jesse Watters ( who, by the way, cheated on his first wife with a 25-year-old coworker):
If I found out Emma was going to the voting booth and pulling the lever for Harris, that’s the same thing as having an affair
Charlie Kirk:
I think it’s so gross. I think it’s so nauseating where this wife is wearing the American hat, she’s coming in with her sweet husband who probably works his tail off to make sure that she can go you know and have a nice life and provide to the family, and then she lies to him saying, ‘Oh, yeah, I’m gonna vote for Trump,’ and then she votes for Kamala Harris as her little secret in the voting booth
Newt Gingrich ( who cheated on both his first and second wives):
And the more you watch them, to say, ‘Oh, why don’t you lie to your husband?’ as a publicly advocated ad? That is sick! And I think we ought to have the courage to say this is a sick, dishonest party.

My Take On This Oh-So-Burning Issue

Politics, of course, can divide families just as much as religion. In fact, more and more I see the two as related, given how much religious fervor I see among political parties these days.

So it doesn't surprise me to see couples where one of the spouses secretly votes for the "other party." It's up to the spouse to determine how he or she wants to vote, whether to even bring up politics in the relationship, and whether it's important for the couple or family to be unified in their political views.

Now, is it "nauseating" to see a celebrity like Julia Roberts try and reach out to women who feel intimidated by their husbands or family members?

No, I don't think so. In fact, I encourage it. The right to vote for whomever you want is sacred. It's the very building block of a democratic society. It is the very foundation of choice. It is the very foundation for the preservation of our human rights.

And like I said, it can go both ways. I'd LOVE to see someone like Will Smith or Jerry Falwell, Jr. remind cuckold husbands that their votes are secret and that they can vote for whomever they want. Jada, for example, doesn't have to know that Will is secretly a MAGA fan.

Of course, no one will ever see such an ad for obvious reasons.

The Problem Isn't Julia Roberts or the Democratic Party

So MAGA men, if you suspect that your wife is "cheating on you" and voting for Harris, know that we feel your pain.

Strong, fAmIlY-oRiEnTeD "men" like Jesse Watters and Newt Gingrich have your back.

You don't have to take this lying down. You can assert yourselves, confront your wives, and demand that they either vote for Trump, or they will file for divorce and demand 100% custody of the kids.

And if God forbid it comes down to a divorce, Watters and Gingrich should be able to give recommendations for good divorce lawyers, given their vast experience.

OR ...

Maybe if your wife wants to vote in secret for Harris, maybe the problem isn't her or the Democrats.

Maybe the problem is YOU.
