I don't know about the USA, but in the UK the Law goes like this:

"To begin at the beginning, equality before the law is a fundamental principle of the rule of law as we know it. Everyone is subject to the same laws, no matter who they are, and is treated equally by the courts."

As far as the Law is concerned, I am just an ordinary citizen, no specialist knowledge, but deliberately targeting Lawyers, their right to earn a living, and perform their duties as they seem fit, does not look right to me. You know, unless they tow a particular political line and behaviour.

Generally, using "voting machines" connected to the internet is fraught with security risks and open to abuse. If you don't realize that you are either a liar or brain dead. There are issues, and these need to be investigated and resolved.

Back to the Law.

Equality and Human Rights

And some seem to be questioning the motivation here.

Looks like a legitimate question to me.

"Everyone is equal before the law" is a fundamental principle of the rule of law that means everyone is subject to the same laws and treated equally by the courts. It's also known as equality under the law, legal equality, or legal egalitarianism.

The principle of equality before the law is enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which states that all people are born free and equal in dignity and rights. Article 7 of the Declaration states that all people are equal before the law and are entitled to equal protection of the law without discrimination.

Equality before the law is a central tenet of a fair and just legal system. It requires a systematic rule of law that ensures equal justice and equal protection for all people.
