If the FCC allows NextNav’s petition to reclassify the lower 900MHZ band, is this a real threat to RAIN RFID or can it be moved to another chunk of spectrum? The comment period resulted in a large mobilization of industries petitioning not to reclassify but this is the government we’re talking about. It also appears that NextNav has purchased some of this spectrum and plans to resell it to 5G carriers. Is this a real threat to the massive future or RAIN RFID or just noise?
