There are two crosscurrents in this Presidential race. The first is the rather large hatred of the ex-President. In contrast to his devotees, there is no question that Trump incited an insurrection against the US Government. I also agree with the Democrats that Trump has an ugly, disgusting side to him. However, he is running against a woman who has extremely radical views. She is all for soaking the rich in taxes and giving it away in her wasteful government spending programs and hawkish foreign policy. As disgusting of a human being as Trump is, his policies are largely superior to the radical DNC nominee, Harris.

I think Trump is way off base in terms of his tariff economic policies. In fact, I think tariffs are archaic and free, fair global trade is the way to go. I am a proud globalist.

However, Trump is spot on in regard to immigration and the dangers that lurk within the USA due to a very loose immigration policy. His "enemy within" is spot on and must be dealt with.

I realize that my views will not endear me to the Trumpies or DNC devotees, but that is fine, as I can handle the heat and will always speak my conscience and tell it like it is.
