Bill,
There was nothing in that bill that closed the border.
If you don't count the politics, it was much better than nothing.

But you guys preferred "nothing" because Brandon would have taken credit for a partial solution, and your attacks against him would have been blunted.

It was a political gamble. Too bad for you it backfired.

And the worst part of it was the backfire was completely preventable.

But you'll NEVER understand why ...
