It turned out that last storm created somewhere that is extremely rare, a tornado on Vancouver Island. It wasn't that big, travelling about a kilometre on the ground with max winds of 115 kph. It did manage yo bring down a bunch of trees and certainly startled everyone who saw it, because Vancouver Island normally goes decades between even small tornadoes.
