Brumar, I have my doubts as to the veracity of that story. It's not even clear whether Trump will follow through with his promises of tariffs. Remember that even his supporters know how much Trump loves to shittalk. I say this because the moment Trump announces blanket tariffs, the markets will drop like a rock. And because Trump never had any courage of conviction, he'll completely abandon the idea, all while his cultists praise him for flip-flopping on the issue. Like I said, Trump is no Javier Milei. Even if Trump now has the political capital to impose tariffs, I believe he's too chickenshit to actually follow through. Tenchusatsu
