Nicewatch, I agree with everything you said.

It boggles my mind, however, to see that the pollsters once again got it wrong, and that the betting markets once again got it right. Typically I would expect the latter to be manipulated (as the WSJ found out) and the former to be more or less "scientific," but it turned out to be the reverse.
