WEX, CLCO, GQC

Western Exploration aka WEX released more drill results from their Aura Au/Ag project in Nevada, where they are currently trying to extend mineralization eastward from the Gravel Creek Resource. New assays from the Miocene Jarbidge rhyolite like 0.34m @ 33.69 g/t AuEq (22.2 g/t Au and 977 g/t Ag) and and 1.04m @ 16.72 g/t AuEq (12.34 g/t Au and 372.2 g/t Ag) indicate this effort has been a success, with the vein swarm now having a strike length of 300m and a dip length of 280m.

WEX tells us that these results demand more exploration, but give no details as to when that might happen. One presumes a PP to pay for it is on the horizon.

Culico Metals aka CLCO, which was spun out as part of the merger between WGX and KRR, released an update. CLCO was only granted TSXV status provincially due to the assets it holds, and is required to deploy at least $4.633M into two separate eligible investments to graduate to regular TSXV status.

They took the first step by announcing that they had invested $4M into USA at 40 cents a share. No coincidence, Paul Huet, who ran KRR and is the big cheese at CLCO was recently named CEO of USA I sure hope he can turn around USA who has been a consistent dog, to the benefit of CLCO shareholders.

CLCO does have a few other minor assets it received as part of the spinout. Now we wait for the announcement as to where the rest of the required funds will be invested. If they fail to complete the second investment by August 2025, CLCO will be delisted, but I do not see this happening.

It's alive!

After numerous false starts, it looks like Goldquest Mining aka GQC may finally be able to resume operations at their Romero Au/Cu project in the Dominican Republic. They say that recent regulatory changes in the DR will now allow the government to review GQC's permit application without Presidential approval. We'll see whether this proves to be true. If it is, GQC is fully funded to complete the necessary environmental and pther studies required to complete an FBS for Romero.

Saville reiterates that a weekly close in the PoG under $2650 will be the definitive signal that a multi-month correction is underway, which he thinks will likely bottom in Q1 around $2300.
