I can feel great words of wisdom and comfort for all welling up in me. Or is that too much Chardonnay? I am not in good shape for our friends. Luckily they're very dear friends and will understand. my lunch friend took me to a tea room where we drank tea and ate female sandwiches. Female sandwiches are delicate things-like chicken salad with grapes and pecans on a croissant. But only half--real women never eat a whole sandwich--that would be gauche. We then walked through expensive little tea room gift shops...this is where someone who has bought a lampshade at WalMart and painted a rose on it, marks it up 500% and plays Enya softly in the background. I bought one. We are staying on Times Square, which seems to be owned by Disney now. So I'm not sure about the smut shops. We'll see a Broadway show, because I love musicals. Tonight's perfume as always is Tommy Girl. And so when is your birthday??? And what was your favorite slowdance memory? (God I sound like a thread hostess.) Let's dance.
