So there was a doctor who had gone home for the day.

His wife informs him that the kitchen faucet was leaking so the doctor calls the plumber. The plumber arrives and within 15 minutes had the leaky fixture fixed.

The plumber gives him a bill for $155. $80 for the evening service call and $75 for the fix. The doctor looks over the bill and angrily says, "a hundred and fifty-five dollars? That's robbery! You were only here for 15 min., that's $610 an hour. I'm a doctor and I don't make that kind of money!"

I plumber calmly looks at him and says: "yep, I used to be a doctor."
