James- Mylex was discussed on CNBC this AM 11:51 PST. An analyst with Crabbie (?) likes the company and has a position at an average cost of $8-$8 1/2. He said that the company has many new products that will hit the channel (if we did not know that story <gr>) but recent problems with AMI taking business away was the reason the stock was trading at it's lows.

The one item that worried me was this analyst stated that many OEM orders lost as a result of AMI, Mylex would get back! I guess this analyst believes the spin from Mylex that they will still get the HWP order. No mention about the DEC OEM potential loss of order from Compq.

I am still trying to get out on the rest of my stock at $10.00 but I may have to take something lower. This investor is not convinced that Mylex will get any of those OEM orders lost and in fact may loose another 20%-30% from the DEC/Compq merger.
