The KGB which Putin headed at one point was a antisemitic organization. Jewish people got severely repressed and fired from their jobs when they expressed a wish to leave Soviet Union to immigrate to Israel. They had to pass through a KGB officer led exit visa interviews, I had one of these too. If you had even a tiny bit of Jewish blood you would not be hired into the KGB corps. So the Jews were waiting to return to Israel for years without income but with some help from abroad. In other words, he does not give a shit about Israel and will use Israel war in the Middle East for his own purposes of showing in the UN that nato is the aggressor. The west will never buy it but the African nations, Islamic countries, China and India do. Most Soviet Jews bypassed Israel and headed straight to the U.S.
