BRICS is an economic union, not a military union. They just created Bricspay, a crypto based payment system, to bypass sanctions. The system allows cross border direct transaction in crypto, which is BRICS currency. The payment system competes with SWIFT, only is more modern. It is modern, much faster than SWIFT, and hidden from sanctions. The Ruble is tied to Chinese currency. I was just saying that Putin is not anyone’s friend. He is aligning himself with China out of necessity and because he is heavily sanctioned. Putin is aligning himself militarily to middle eastern Islamic states like Iran fighting Israel and to China which is unhappy about US meddling in Taiwan.
