The Biden/Harris administration has wavered in its support of Israel, demanding a ceasefire and looking to establish a Palestinian State, which is absurd, since the GAZA people have never wanted a Palestinian State. Plus, the Biden Administration has looked to replace Netanyahu with a more moderate leader. The war already involves Iran since they support financially all the terrorist activity in the region. If you want to call destroying Iran's nuclear and oil facilities an escalation, so be it.
