You're right he flat out says he loves legal immigrants at the same time he has said maybe we limit the number of legal immigrants while we grapple with the illegal.
Again, you're putting words into his mouth.

When will Trump consider the illegal immigration problem "resolved"?

After he's done being "dicktator for a day"?

After his glorious wall is built?

When the so-called "invasion" stops?

I don't know if you figured this out yet, but the "invasion" never stops.

It didn't stop back when Reagan passed amnestia back in the 1980's, it didn't stop back when immigrants (legal or otherwise) were denied federal welfare benefits in the 1990's, and it didn't stop back when Obama and Trump caged the children in the 2010's.

Trump is doing nothing but exploiting xenophobia. America has a long history of immigration, and America also has a long history of anti-immigration backlash.
