That Charlie is just a small part of the entire 'Movie'....IMO a guy like Craft can't pass judgement on a 'Payment Processor' like CheckFree based on whatever Movie he's watching, or see being played out at BofA.
I've said it many, many, many times on all three threads; Intuit, Exicte, & CheckFree.....'You can't understand any one Company without watching them all'.
It's a puzzle, it's a fricken puzzle....you can't look at one piece, and come to a conclusion......you have to put them all together....then it becomes pretty darn clear what the plot is to this Movie is. And believe me MS has a '10 Ton Gorilla' here to contend with, this ain't no NetScape........

Bill's good taking them on, one on one......but these boys combined are one tuff nut to crack.
And I believe the guy over at Excite, CEO George Bell, is nothing less than a fricken ANIMAL.....IMO Bill's got his hands full with that one...let alone Pete Kight.
This is ultimately an eyeball game.....as Quicken.Com expands...Excite Expands......it's just more places to make the connection with the consumer who will ultimately use CheckFree Backend Services. ie you are not going to see Checkfree backend MSN, if they do it was a mistake....
But right now we are in the 'build it an they will come mode'. And all three Companies are doing away with current revenue to Build this thing.....exactly what they should be doing. |
