When Ronald Reagan said, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall." Gorbachev agreed to take the wall down provided the U.S. promised not to recruit any more countries into NATO, this would ensure Russia a neutral barrier between Europe and Russia... That was the Minsk Agreement... Boris Yeltsin even came to the U.S. and gave a speech at the UN, in English he said, "God Bless America," he wanted Russia and the U.S. to be friends but the U.S. needed a boogeyman and China was not in the picture at that time... Ukraine was well on their way to defend itself with more than 1800 missiles aimed at Moscow... The idiot bill clinton urged Ukraine to remove those missiles with the "promise" that the U.S. would come to their defense if Russia attacked... Ukraine was very reluctant but they still complied and removed all those missiles... Boris Johnson of England said he would NOT observe the Minsk Agreements and this, of course, pissed off Russia... This is when the CIA, the Pentagon, and the U.S. military industrial complex began building NATO positions inside Ukraine... What more needs to be said... GZ
