There's a lot going on - with Senator Thune now the Senate Majority Leader, Trump's tariffs
may not be as easy to implement. I bet that Trump will still implement tariffs, but not as
easy as before Thune. Senator Thune is very influential, and he strongly supports free trade
and more exports for his home state. There could be deals like China buying more US soybeans,
grain, etc. Politics is like a big puzzle - there's no one way street as long as we have
checks and balances - and Thune was put in there by the Senate to be a balancing force.

Musk could be hoping for more tariffs against BYD, etc. But Thune will likely say not so fast.
