If 99% of illegal aliens were as pure as Mother Teresa, that still wouldn't be the point. Illegal is illegal. You invade this country without authorization, you are illegal. You broke the law and are subject to deportation. Period. I wasn't born in the US, but my parents brought me here legally, when I was an infant. I'm a dual national as a result.. Although it cost me thousands of dollars and a lot of travel hassle and paperwork, I brought my foreign fiancée here, legally. My sister's eldest son, a native US citizen, married an English girl in the UK and brought her here legally, although that was an even more expensive and time consuming hassle than using the fiancée visa process. He's a college math professor and she graduated from UC Berkeley Law School, passed the bar and is employed by an SF law firm. Properly vetted legal immigrants are a net positive for the country, but teeming hordes of illegal and illiterate third world border crashers are not. You wonder why Trump got elected? Biden's open borders are one damn big reason..
