"Full Self Driving" may be the problem. There has been some speculation that castings don't absorb impacts was well as sheet metal, but supposedly crash tests don't show that.

Whatever the issue is, and no matter how much hand waving we get from Musk, the numbers are pretty overwhelming.

I wonder if posts about it being blocked on X / Twitter despite all the unlimited free speech crap from Musk.

Meanwhile, Tesla's up today in a down market - if you're convinced the government is about to become sufficiently corrupt, dangerous products don't matter, since the new leaders will force their garbage onto all of us.

Musk is being put in charge of regulating auto safety systems for autonomous driving...
