Well long term, the truth comes out. Making the quarter any way you can only get you so far. Cash flows including those for so called extraordinary items do count in the long term. The 10Q/10Ks have vital information in assessing the future prospects of the company. Of course they are not the only means of evaluating a company but IMO successful active investors that make long term plays can get milage from them. This been said, I acknowledge that an investment strategy based on momentum and guessing right what is gonna be the next darling stock group in WS "a la Cramer" also works but IMO you have to follow very closely the daily action. I rather go for a play I think will go my way longer term.

I will be capable for quite a while.....
