I am with Ameritrade for a week and I have a few
trading with them. Compared with E-trade and Schwab, Ameritrade
has

1) Slow placing trade including marketing order.
2) Terrible confirmation waiting time.
3) No placing time and executing time(even Ameritrade's
representatives do have this data except
traiding desk) in order status.

Only a good experience with Ameritrade:
A representative called me and explained
some issues in very professional fashion.

My suggestion:
For active trading investors, leave Ameritrade alone
unless they have some improvement.
